MarBelle is Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of independent film site Directors Notes. Since its formation in 2006 Directors Notes has become a go to resource for filmmakers worldwide, curating 1000s of films of all types from leading directors across the globe, whilst revealing the processes and inspirations behind their work through its in-depth interviews.

He has previously worked as Features  Editor of Showreel magazine, Editor of Shooting  People’s Filmmakers Bulletin and as a contributing writer for both Short of the Week and No Film School. He has also curated the Reading & Leeds music festivals short film screenings for over 10 years, as well as providing short film programmes for the likes of Bestival and the Cinecity film festival.

"There’s nothing quite like the feeling of discovering films which break new ground or make the familiar fresh by reimagining it through a new lens. For me,  it's never been enough to just watch great work, a good film has to be shared, dissected and discussed, which is why I’m proud to be part of this year’s Kinsale Sharks festival and its outstanding programme of films and events."
