Director of Music Video Production - Atlantic
Shadeh Smith is a music video commissioner hailing from West London. She has judged the Ibiza Music Video Festival, as well as the UKMVA’s. Her music video for Joseph Cook’s “Take Me Dancing” was awarded Best Pop Video at the 2016 UKMVA’s.
Shadeh began her foray in the music sphere as an intern for Warner Music at age sixteen. After a short break to earn a degree in international politics from Sussex University, she returned to Warner Music to assist in the A&R department. From there, Shadeh became a personal assistant for Ben Cook, the President of Asylum Records — a working relationship that continued even as Cook moved to be President of Atlantic Records.
Shadeh soon earned the opportunity to work in Atlantic Records’ creative department; it was there that she commissioned her very first music video (for Jacob Banks). Several years down the line, Shadeh presided at Atlantic Records as a trailblazing commissioner, working with top artists such as Ed Sheehan, Paolo Nutini, Charli XCX, Anne Marie, Jess Glynne, Will Joseph Cook, Wstrn, and Kwabs, to name a few.
In 2016, Shadeh accepted an offer to be the Director of Music Video Production in Los Angeles, where she is currently working on films for the likes of Kehlani, Charli Puts, Flo Rida, and Kevin Gates
